Because their dumping of chemicals in the air when they burn off product does create acid rain which seems to qualify as a third degree felony according to their own dumbass definition. Or what about when plants explode because of shitty safety oversight? Those chemicals are definitely making the environment uninhabitable and definitely modify the “intensity of sunlight” from the billowing smoke until it clears up.
