I mean, I’d make the same joke about hulk hogan if there had been a parks and recs blooper about it. Assuming it is about her explicitly being a woman is a bit of a stretch.

I love how the Connect app has user notes, so I can appreciate the irony that I already marked DragonTypeWyvern as “Sexist” before.

Incels have accused me of that before, so that tracks.

Apparently pointing out their sexism is the real sexism.

          You, yes. Me?

Probably a little, everyone is a product of their environment. I don’t immediately claim women I don’t know can’t have earned their intellectual accomplishments and must have traded sexual favors for them though.

Seems pretty stupid, tbh, especially when her dad was famously a lawyer himself and she can certainly afford tutors.

You: “Leave Britney Kim alone, you don’t know her, you’re sexist.”

Also you: “I don’t know you but will call you sexist because I didn’t get the joke.”

Also, did you just assume my gender?

A trial attorney? I could see it she wanted to be like a corporate attorney or real estate or something, where your character as a person isn’t relevant. How is she going to empanel a jury without potential jurors having preexisting feelings about her trustworthiness? “Yeah, she seems sincere, but remember that time on her reality show where she was faking tears for sympathy?”

I don’t know her, or how competent she would be at trial, and anyone can be anything they want to be. But also, recognize that choices have consequences. Maybe trading dignity for fame and fortune means you don’t get to live any dream you like.

Yeah, defended some minor sportsman. It’s not like the family name only got famous through the blood of innocent victims or anything like that. The Kardashians were picked up by MTV back then only by pure happenstance.

Wait, no - I was wrong. Not a trial attorney. Not even a licensed attorney at the time of the murder. He had to get his licenced renewed to be a volunteer assistant attorney on the OJ case. BUT did create MovieTunes, the business that brought you music between movies in the theater. Huh!

Isn’t there an infamous video of her dad removing a briefcase (evidence) from OJ’s house in front of reporters? I’d be deeply suspicious of any lawyers from that lineage.

Robert Kardashian was part of OJ’s defense. There was speculation that the bag contained evidence of the murders. When the bag was entered into evidence, its contents were not. Kim Kardashian claims she went through it at the time and it only contained toiletries.

Because toiletries are naturally the kinds of things you find a briefcase, right?

Wait I thought Caitlin Jenner was her dad? (Well, mom now but you get what I mean.)

I’m so confused about how that family works. Why do they have two last names? Divorce?

Yep, they divorced and then mom married into the Jenners. Kim et al. were born when Robert was the dad though, so no last name change for them. The kids that came about after would have been called Jenner.

Trial law is incredibly difficult. Even if you’re not chasing billable hours, you have deadlines, procedures, sleeping at the office, doc review, managing people, being managed by partners or other attorneys, travel….the list goes on.

Only a few people stay in it, either for he money or they chase the stress.

I suspect she will be used to bring attention to a law firm. It’s not unusual to have attorneys that do little work but have connections.

People in this thread are judging her hard. Any other glass ceilings you want to put over her? I bet it fuels her desire to do this. She’s going to end up being the ultimate role model of anyone can aspire to do anything regardless of their past. I for one welcome her efforts to grow up and contribute to society differently than she has in the past.
