Americans will get angry at you for pointing out the very things they’re angry about

“My country sucks ass. It’s a total shithole. But it’s still way better than yours. Do you even have internet and electricity in Romania?”

Last I was asked the electricity question was as early as 2021, folks. US education is… wow… wow… (now watch while an American tells me it’s still better than mine)

I live in the most educated country in the world and Americans still claim they have the best because of a handful of elite colleges that the super wealthy get to attend. They are very proud of their masters I guess. And I dont mean the degree.

Dude, getting fellow Americans to care about tech rights feels like pulling teeth. It felt like a god damn miracle when I got my parents to care about their LGTV fucking spying on them because others in my life?

“Yeah, they have all our data anyways, who cares?”

STOP WITH THE LEARNED HELPELESSNESS! Take some fucking care in your privacy! Because if you don’t and you are one of the 90% who are blithely accepting this shit, it tells the tech companies they can do whatever they want! You have a duty to care about yourself and others too!

I read a philosophy book. I’d stay and chat more but my government issued transgender girlfriend is about to stream Mewgenics. So ya, I eat ass.

It’s almost as if responding to a shitpost is less difficult and dangerous than mounting a resistance against an oppressive militarized state. Who knew?

I look forward to Europe’s impending swing far right so I can post memes about it.

I see what you men but I think most rightwing European parties are at theyre Max potential. I’m German so I’ll take the AFD as an example but this applies to many cu tries. They’ve got a lot of voters from the CDU and non voters but there isn’t any demographic left that dosnt despise them. And left parties are on the rise too so that’s a positive development.

I wouldn’t wish that evil on anybody. Besides, there’s my exit plan.

Hungary had the right idea. They proved it’s possible to say no to fascism.

It’s all a trap; it’s all ragebait. Many sensible americans are likely tired of these sorts of inferences. Non-americans can look down their noses and feel smug while they get blasted in the ass by their own fascist leaders (but they’re 20% less fashy). We can snipe at each other but we’re just doing their labor for them. Again.

Or more like “socialism when it finances aircraft carriers and F-22s flying over football games” vs “socialized health care for all”

people basically think some random poster on some shitty online platform has more to answer for than the president of the US
