You’re just following the prompt right? Posting an unpopular opinion? Because you’ve nailed it.
Sometimes I feel like a motorcycle’s blindspots is everyone else on the road.

College became a business at one point, probably somewhere around 2000 it really became evident, and that’s that. People who have no business getting into college not only get in, but they get degrees. And how do we do that? We water it down, make it accessible to everyone.
And I say this as a college dropout. We need to stop the idea that college is for everyone. That’s totally okay.

The secret is mayonnaise. Use mayonnaise. Been my mom’s secret weapon in chocolate cake for years and it comes out super moist.
I run often, and unfortunately it’s a lot harder to stay thin as I’m pushing 40 than it was when I was pushing 20. And by stay thin I mean stay average.
Kurzgesagt had a good video on exercise that basically talked about how, if you exercise regularly, your body basically doesn’t burn the calories the same. If you’re a couch potato and then you start to exercise, you will get a benefit, but then there’s diminishing returns from continuing to exercise, to the point your body now says “hey, this is my new normal,” and essentially burns the same calories whether you’re on the couch or exercising. There’s a lot more nuance to it in the video.
It seems we’re all doomed to just get old.
Yeah, as a kid in high school, one of my go-to high snacks was an Entenmann’s All Butter French Crumb Cake (~1740 calories) and a half gallon of 2% milk (~950 calories). It wasn’t an everyday thing, but I’d house it no problem, and it wasn’t the only thing I’d eat that day. I also swam competitively, although as I’ve grown older I’ve learned that it’s essentially unrelated, and that your metabolism is just your metabolism, essentially regardless if your activity levels. I had trouble breaking 140 pounds at 5’8.
That all stopped. It’s pretty incredible how it all just stops. I’m still fairly active, but I wouldn’t consider eating more than a serving at this point, and I instead have trouble cracking 165 (except from above this time). Oh well, this is life.
I know a couple people using it for mental health related reasons, under the care of a doctor. One goes for injections every couple weeks, the other gets these troches, meant to be placed buccally in the mouth. They both seem to experience positive effects from it.
My experience is limited to the abuse half, but positive effects as well.
It’ll do that. It gets a terrible reputation, but it has both messed with my mind and also, 30m later, I feel fine.
And putting the recreational side of the drug aside, it’s great in a clinical setting as well. I’ve been out of the EMT game for a bit, but I recall there being discussion of adding it to the repertoire of paramedics to deal with severe pain, as opposed to opiate administration. There are very few contraindications for ketamine, and nothing takes away pain like leaving your body behind.
Jenkem is a word from my youth that I haven’t heard in a very long time.
If you do enough ketamine you can become ketamine, absolutely, if only for a little bit.
I like the idea of one bar across the middle that you need to perfectly balance the car on in order to lift it. Makes it exciting.

Clear glass. A ziplock bag. Wind. Thoughts and prayers. Sunblock - dammit.

Well, I don’t know that I agree with that, I’m sure you’re speaking tongue in cheek, but I will agree that it’s certainly not the best time. I think we’ll have a better idea where we’re headed in a few months. Fingers crossed!

Why are there so many grammatical errors in this article?
But the test was a major catalyst would eventually spell doom for commercial supersonic journeys over the United States.
Now, some 50 years on from the ban, a new era of supersonic flight seems within reach. The FAA in June for reimagined rules on supersonic flight.
Jacopo needs to step up the proofreading because it’s distracting having to reread a sentence.
Anytime I get my kids a snack or a bowl of cereal to cap off the night, I almost certainly take the dad tax (which in and of itself is a joke), but generally tell them that I checked and it was not poison.
I also hide and scare everyone in my family, but that one is just for me. Sometimes I say boo without hiding, and that’s for them.

You are just obsessed with America aren’t you! Come visit!

There’s still some decent games, but you gotta really sift through shit. I only know because of my kids. I don’t have an issue with them playing. I don’t let them friend anyone (they don’t know in real life), chat is dead, and when they play dumb games, they eventually come to the “this is dumb” conclusion, and I treat it like a learning experience.

Yeah, I think that’s definitely what happened. Probably wasn’t possible to keep the pattern right, you’d end up with something that looked even weirder, so they went with this.
They’re all delicious. It’s a problem how delicious they are.
That being said, the colors will be more muted soon enough. I’ve always had a soft spot for cereal, and certain cereals have already taken the plunge into muted color town.
Yeah, it shocks most people when they hear it. But if you think further on it, mayo is essentially oil, egg, and an acid, but mainly oil and egg. Cake mix calls for oil and egg, and so you just substitute a dollop of mayonnaise, and it does a better job of oil and egg.
As far as how much, I have no idea. I’m not a baker. I can cook, but I do not bake.
And for anyone wondering, you do not taste mayo in the cake, that would be terrible.
