I have no issues with my politicians protecting people from being bombed. I’d love it if we’d also protect Ukraine with such vigor.

What I do have a problem with is when they provide the weaponry needed to commit genocidal actions and effectively encourage said usage by refusing to apply any sort of oversight.

Protecting Israel, or any other country from violence should be considered a good thing. Causing violence to Gaza, Lebanon, Iran, wherever, should not.

A balanced take? On the internet? Get outta here!

But for real I’m on the same page as you on this one.

Like, imagine a magical satellite system that automatically shoots down all missiles from all nations. Using weapons to destroy weapons is a wonderful thing for peace. Unfortunately any such system would be selectively activated by whoever controlled it.

Yeah, agreed. I don’t have a viable solution (I wish I controlled my various government representatives, but alas!), but even perfect solutions would be ruined by people. People are why we can’t have nice things. :(

(Really hoping this doesn’t post multiple times. Seems I’m having some internet issues.)

Protecting Israel from repercussions of the violence it causes is not a good thing. No one else can stop them because the US will protect them.

I’d rather my politicians protect victims not Nazis.

How do most people in Iran and among its allies perceive it? As a show of force or as a failure? (How did they perceive the similar April attack?)

So is this senile prick good with Israel drawing them into another war in the midEast? Is that the point of all this or is it just a by-product of supporting a megalomaniac that’s willing to start WW3 in order to avoid a corruption trial?

So glad this jackass will be gone. Too bad we’re not getting a meaningful change in this area.
