It’s really hard when things aren’t great with fam, and you’ve got such a difficult situation there. I totally get the whole ‘be polite and keep the peace out of respect’, but still having to deal with how shit some situations are
Bought a dozen eggs on my way home. ALL of them were rotten. The best before date still had 3 weeks to go. If using eggs, crack them into a bowl before adding them to dinner folks, for your own protection. I reckon they must be scraping the absolute bottom of the barrel now in the egg warehouses.

Had to open all of them, hoping to find 2 good ones. I’ve already sent an extremely polite and extremely sarky email to them. With photos. Especially of the one with black hairy streaks all through it.
Eew yuck, my worst one was a mouldy pizza, I rang my local woolies and got a refund, I don’t think I needed to return it back to them but I did take photos with the batch dates.

Two weeks off reddit. I’m not sure if it’s made a difference. Nice not reading about the finer details of the various northern hemisphere’s many issues.
It’s been about 3 months for me and I have to tell you, I feel a shit tonne better.
i still look at reddit smoll cats , tv show subs, movies, and a very little politics
the big newspapers are depressing , they are skewing the news , I know it
I’m still on reddit for sports and gaming subs.
Self contained areas and generally focused and with their own quirks occasionally, especially true of gacha subs.
Washing done, air filters cleaned, dishwasher cleaned, oven cleaning started. Now I’m steeling myself for a fridge cleanout. There are a few things in there that have reached the goo stage (cucumber seems to turn into a liquid state very easily).
