So it turns out I’ve completely misunderstood the nature of this apartment hunt.

The whole thing has stirred up some…complicated feelings in me, and I don’t know what to do with them

Sharing them here is clearly the answer.

What are you thinking? Is it about location, position, wardrobe size, chakra alignment, neighbours, bench space, where you can put your welcome mat which tells people to fuck off, ability to see sunrise/set, walkability to your favourite coffee spot? Are you just doubting your own ability to choose or that you’re amazing at blocking out opinions around you?

Either way, dump it all here. It might help, it might not. No promises any way.

Is the mismatch between your own needs/wants/desires? Or a mismatch between your own wants/needs and what other people think you ought to want/need?

    strange things happening here

a guy has been using the tap in the front yard late at night, i think just to fill a water bottle

he has also watered the pot plants on the front veranda

    homeless guy?

    it worries me

Homeless people are just people lol. If he’s just using it for water, it sounds like he watered your plants as a thank you? Idk, it doesn’t sound particularly malicious, but I get the concern since he was on your property and close to your front door (I assume that’s where your verandah is).

My proudest moment was at a partay in the sand dunes down here as a kid about 30 of us. Fashioning a billy from a plastic gatorade bottle. Problem was the stem wasn’t a tight fit and no one knew what to do. Luckily the IGA was near by. So I bought a Bubble O’Bill and used the nose gum to seal it. Holy shit was that the peak of my popularity.

Me and me alone saved that partay. Didn’t get laid though.

I used to go to this house for all these parties and the home owner couldn’t work out why someone would take pieces of his hose. He used to be able to water his entire garden comfortably and now he struggled to reach parts. No one was gonna tell him.

Might be harmless, but also mental health or drugs could be involved so you never know. Wise to be cautious. Who knows what is in his head? Maybe he thinks your house is the one where the secret alien overlord plants live and he needs to water them to appease them. Someone with normal mental health does not go onto someone’s property to water plants late at night. It’s weird, somethings going on there.

I got the kids to play this game called Vital Shell, it’s pretty much 3D Vampire Survivors with robots. It’s so funny watching them move about and aiming wildly. One was actually going better not touching the controller than when they were actively playing

    New sub is in 🔊 💨 🔥

Thankfully seems to compliment the mains. Easily goes an octave + lower than the behringer. Having the 2 going at once is moving a lot of air and way overkill lol. We’re finally properly 20hz->20khz.

Was a bit worried the room would create issues as the behringer just wasn’t hitting the lows correctly. Turns out the room is fine and the 2x8"behringer just can’t go that low👏

Pretty wild that the new one is 1/2 the size / weight of the behringer (albeit bigger driver) but much more effective / clear.

    Time to rave
