    We’re going medieval real fast.

    We’re receding in civilization in a no short of spectacular way.

    While I certainly expected a degree of collapse, I really didn’t see the oligarchy oppression coming. Us, peasants, are, in fact, dead weight considering we’re consuming too much resources. And we stand in the way of them being able to continue to accumulate and use the resources. AI will automated many things for them without having to deal with humans and their disadvantages.

    Our best shot at hope is if we band together to protect ourselves from them.

    The accumulation of resources by them is brutal and obscene, and they moved to the phase of annihilation.

    This is assault. Plain and simple.

    No law in existence gives someone the authority to do this. Does everyone get to do this now? Is a lady yelling at you? Chem spray to the face. Baby crying on a plane? Chem spray to the face. Politician giving a speech? Chem spray.

      Qualified immunity doesn’t give them the authority but it gives them the de facto right.

      That’s how they’ve acted for ages now. There examples of people being bound and sat in a row during arrest and a cop walking down the line spraying from 2020. Others from pipeline protests and back to occupy that I’ve heard of.

      Once the they put on the riot gear they act like the blood-thirsty Nazis they are and ignore the legal protections of the protestors.

        Or to justify bringing more military for law enforcement to normalize that and allow the president to declare martial law for political reasons. This is playing with fire. It’s hard to imagine a future president worse than Trump, but it’s possible, and citizens, local police, and possibly National Guard or military units could resist them militarily, and then we’re at civil war, which would be nightmare for everyone.

    Federal thug. These assholes are not officers. I’m pretty sure the forty and fifty something dough boys I’m seeing jogging up the road these days are getting ready to or have already joined ice. These assholes will get a gun in crowd of other assholes with guns and act bad ass but most of them look just a doughnut away from a stroke.

    cops do that thing where they grab the back of the guys vest and drag them back when they know the guy up front is doing dumb shit. These asshats were being removed from a situation they were making worse even by cop standards and they still made the decision to assault an unarmed citizen because their feelings got hurt. Fucking pathetic
