I mean I can’t remember specific occasions but yeah im sure dicks and assholes have helped me. They can still be dickish or such when helping but sometimes its their job or they begrudgingly do it and like your experience sometimes in certain situations they can do things without being dicks for awhile. Hope this becomes affordable enough to utilize. The main problem with optical disks is the length of time. Still would be nice to have something as convenient as a usb drive even if it can’t be rewritten. Disks were sorta of annoying to put some stuff on and then a bit more and a bit more.

a few years in my thirties was my best time of life. Was able to afford living near the city which was also near my work. I don’t think that has to do with age though as much as stable employment.

Im a big right to die person and so wish robust right to die laws were common. I would love to be able to make a doc to say give me an overdoes of barbituates rather than just let me suffer until I expire. I have had to put down animals and while married. Mostly my wife and I discuss the animals quality of life. It comes down to if we would rather be put down or live in their situation. Dogs are not that different for us and we evolved with similar desires. I believe we can make the call. Now granted my dog lived with a lot of issues before being put down and dogs are so generally willing to show happiness that it was way passed time were we would want to be put down. I hate having to remember new things and as far as organizations and places go the name changes have been for corporate advertising or just inferior to what was before. I missed that and agree with you. Internships are generally supposed to be a semester getting some experience so no reason to just not say it ended.

meh. small employers and cults are more likely to. you can try to sue them but its not easy.

I found most people in the right situation on the right topic can be knowledgeable or insightful even if they are sorta assholes in general. I mean there are other people I know who are so often knowledgeable and useful that your like woa. Even this person does not know what to do in the rare case they don’t or can’t add something useful.

for americans you vote and protest and whatever else one can. for non americans you vote and tell your reps you want to pull away from any reliance your country has on america and strengthen ties with other democracies and you avoid buying american products.

I do a regular protest against our law breaking facist administration over an expressway in the us and every so often we get a negative response or positive shout out for trump. Its rare. I call them the one percent given how unoften they are as opposed to people giving us thumbs up and peace signs and other encouraging things. Anyway every time appears to be a lone male in a truck or suv. Only time I ever saw a woman counter protestor was a family that was pretty batshit. Felt pretty sorry for the kid.

yeah although that 12mph seems a bit low for top speed. Feels like that should be more its cruising speed but it should respect cycle traffic and slow down rather than pass cyclists unless they are below something like eight miles an hour.
