Such a pretty cat! You must have some great memories with her, being so pretty and so torti-ed. I have a dilute torti, and rest assured it’s only her colouring that is diluted, not the tortitude!

I’ve been tracking my food and seeing that I’m not eating much fat so I’ve started using camembert as butter in my egg on toast, and stirring a tea spoon of peanut butter into my porridge. Both of these things have been a solid improvement to each meal.

Project Hail Mary on Audible!! Hands down, the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to. The guy who reads it embodies the character so well, and they even have a voice for the “alien” character. I remember just_kitten talking about it on here (who I think also recommended Severance iirc?), and so when it came to decide on what to listen to, I went in blind.

@just_kitten@aussie.zone, if you’re reading this, please drop more recs :)

(I’ve also been milking the Audible free trial for about six months now by signing up with different emails, please don’t tell them hehe)

The Coles brand dark chocolate block I guess? It does have a little dairy added now (don’t think that was there before) but it’s not seemed to cause problems with a few squares. It’s tasty and relatively cheap.

ATM I’m staying motivated by only choosing 5-10 minute workouts because if I don’t feel like it I can say to myself, “oh come on, it’s only 5 minutes, it’s better than nothing, get off your arse” lol.

I have now successfully visited a new place and aquired some mulch. The landscape supply place is a tiny bit more expensive than Bunnings, but it has an indoor drive in area that was much nicer than having to wrangle lots of stuff on a trolley (probably 2 or 3 trips worth) in the rain.

Does he cut with the grain or against? Is he good with sharpening tools? Does he nick himself regularly?

Hahaha. Cut throats are great against the grain. Not so much the other way around. They also need to be sharpened before every use.

A double edge safety razor is a nicer experience imo. +Brush. +Poraso soap. +Sample pack of different blades. $50-$150ish.

      I used to!!!

Was using disposable blades though, not a proper old school single piece one.

Great shave. Takes a bit of practice, but a good skill to have. A nice shaving kit, with a proper razor, brush and stand makes an awesome gift.
