minus-squareCEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up5·3 days agoDoes he cut with the grain or against? Is he good with sharpening tools? Does he nick himself regularly? You can get nice Safety razors. That’s what my man uses.
minus-squareCatfish@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up4·3 days agoNo idea. Paranoid about his chisels. No.
minus-squareCEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up2·3 days agoHahaha. Cut throats are great against the grain. Not so much the other way around. They also need to be sharpened before every use. If knives are his thing, go for it!
minus-squareSaneMartigan@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkarrow-up4·edit-23 days agoA double edge safety razor is a nicer experience imo. +Brush. +Poraso soap. +Sample pack of different blades. $50-$150ish.
minus-squareMeanElevator@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4·3 days agoI used to!!! Was using disposable blades though, not a proper old school single piece one. Great shave. Takes a bit of practice, but a good skill to have. A nice shaving kit, with a proper razor, brush and stand makes an awesome gift.
