    This is such a no brainer. I don’t understand why Trump and his advisors think there’s more money and prospects in oil than electric.

      EV manufacturing is very weak in the US due to years of short-sighted corporate and government policy, so the companies making EVs don’t have money to give right now to Trump. Meanwhile US oilgarchs are very rich and have a lot of money to hand over to Trump.
