When I saw Black Widow in the theater, in the beginning scenes with Natasha as a kid, Natasha and her fake family are in the car singing “this will be the day that I die”, I was convinced one of the characters in the car would die that day
It’s actually “Whiskey in Rye”
The Levee was a bar in a city that went dry. Rye, a city, wasn’t dry.
I know this is a shit post community, but just in case anyone takes you seriously, this is not true.
It’s one of the interpretations. No one knows what the song is about because the lyrics suck.
The song is about the plane crash that killed buddy holly, richie valens, and the big bopper.
Everyone who learned this as some trivia knows this. No one got it from the song.
It’s “and”
I always assumed it was talking about rye whiskey
Actually it’s glorpis
Actually it’s a gold-titanium alloy
Actually Whiskey is the name of the doctor, not the monster.
Uh huh next you’ll say the next line isn’t “uh what? Bro you’re high”
Whiskey and Rye?
My dumbass was thinking of the Nujabes song with Cise Starr, and was confused about the lyrics. Never heard this bar until that song anyway.

Isnt rye a type of whiskey? Dont get me wrong its the worst kind, below scotch even ykwim
Yes but it’s made from the grain rye, not from corn or barely mash so people usually refer to it as rye or rye whiskey. Just saying whiskey typically implies barley to most people. Saying bourbon means it’s from the US and almost always corn.
I really like rye. It’s generally less sweet than bourbon but still delivers the oak barrel complexities of bourbon or scotch. All the americans are a blend of grains. Im sure some exceptions exist, but Bourbon refers to specific amount of the grain being corn. (I wanna say 51 percent or more, but its been a minute since my liquor store training) Rye, well, yea more grain rye.
Nothing wrong with being a rye fan, im just not.
Bourbon is a specific place like champagne
Outside of France Bourbon is just a sparkling Capetian
Not true.
It depends on what you like. Rye whiskey tends to have a sweeter flavor than other varieties.
Well done
