$2.99 for three ears of corn? Man that’s cheaper than getting it from the pirates…they want a buck an ear!

That’s a savings of 0.33333~ cents per ear. Put those infinitely repeating 3s into a HYSA and you’ll be millionaire before you know it.

This drives me crazy living in the Los Angeles area too, but I’ve discovered it comes from Mexico. For example, Taquería “Los Hermanos” would be a taquería (taco shop) called The Brothers.

Honestly it doesn’t bother me so much while traveling in Mexico and seeing it in Spanish but it definitely looks totally wrong in English.

They’d better honor the $2 on that one corn package with the giant sticker and not try to charge $3 for it.

Of all the things to be annoyed about in this pic, I think the thing that gets me the most is that you still have to remove some of the husk. The whole point is to do less work? Too bad, do it anyway.

It’s like they thought it would be corn lingerie “no no, make sure you leave some of the husk on to enhance the sexiness! See, just show the cleavage in front here.”

It’s so you can grill it without excess charring or using tinfoil.

Actually, I don’t know if that’s the intent, but that’s why I’m happy they do.
