COSTS ARE TOO HIGH, THE FUTURE LOOKS BLEAK, AND NOBODY WHO CAN FIX THOSE THINGS SEEMS TO GIVE A SHIT.
Go ahead and spend a bunch of money on analysts, though. Ignore the root causes. We’re used to it.

One of my all-time favorite films. The movie poster redesign isn’t bad, either. Two thumbs up!

This would encourage me to avoid that “art show” at all costs.
So… she’s actually in a place where people need help, doing the work herself, but you’re fixated on skin color? Because she’s white, she’s only allowed to help other white people without being mocked?
Attitudes like that are part of the problem.
Edit: here’s her website: Land of Hope

My reply would have been the same regardless lol

(that’s what reddit says)
If you’re looking to reddit for ethical advice, you’re already beyond help. Sorry.
Gross but valid

“AI systems controlled by billionaire tech bros are certain to give me an answer that’s fair and unbiased!”
I’m pretty sure this isn’t a serious suggestion anyway
I respectfully disagree. If I was angry enough to leave footprints in someone’s bread, I’d want them to KNOW it. I wouldn’t just step on it, I’d press down with each individual toe. I’d want to make sure their groggy, half-asleep brain NOTICED.
I can’t believe I’m thinking this out. WTF

Haven’t heard about this in a few months. I had hoped that someone who understood what a logistical nightmare it would be had talked him out of it.

Reminder that crap like this happens constantly across all industries

On Earth, just about everyone experiences linear time. We don’t know if a baby is going to be famous until they grow up and do stuff.

Great choice of photo

“Dole is proud to transfer this vital resource to the State of Hawaiʻi at no cost, ensuring its continued use and stewardship in support of agriculture and the broader community,” the company said in a statement after the vote.
“Fixing the dam ourselves would be an expensive hassle. We’re happy to dump this problem on the taxpayers, and even have the gall to brag that we’re doing it ‘at no cost’”.

We get it. He’s trying to distract everyone from the Epstein files. Even for Vance, though, this is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

I can’t help but feel bad for this guy. He fell into the trap in late 2024, before most people knew just how bad AI could be.

My sarcastic answer is that it’s not a write-off because he’s not already rich.
My honest answer is that I don’t know, because I don’t know shit about taxes.
Excuse me?
