Wait, I though that was just a joke
Those clever geniuses!
I’m honestly not THAT surprised. If there’s a high turnaround and little of value they can take from direct access, then you’d want it more accessible than secure. And since the value in an art museum is physical, the camera footage isn’t worth nearly as much. Plus, how tech-savvy are the owners of an art museum going to be?
Still, you’d expect a number, at the very least. Or something like MonaLisa14. Something you change every 6 months. Louvre is WAY too default.
Never put your company name in a password. Always use one of your competitors. They should have used ‘BritishMuseum’ or something
They should have used 'ThievesGuild ’ or something
FTFY
They should have added 123 like most companies to make it crack proof.
Should have been Paris
Passwords in video games…
This doesn’t surprise me at all.
At Circle K, the video system in the back uses “police” to access the footage so they can review and make a copy. Not sure if that’s the only access level, wouldn’t be surprised given how old many of those systems still are.
I bet there are other appropriate users, but this one was discovered by someone and it does everything they want to do, so is used for everything.
Not a bad idea. Definitely easier to remember than the strings I tend to use: 35$?:5&?}^!,%*!bghkvgjnvfuBFGJBCFUNbfyjvct!,58’crrydgjm€?~%+’cWhxukbYjvJCFUB
At least they changed it from
password! All’s fair in Louvre and war
That is so unbelievably funny
