If the Germans get wind of this, those plagiarism charges will most certainly nail them to the cross.

In WW2 all sorts of different people put aside their differences and united. They might have thought that Winston Churchill was a bastard, but he was the one that had the best chance of stopping Hitler.

Getting behind the people who already had an organization was how they stopped the Nazis.

You might be leaving out one significant person and country in stopping the Nazis.

it is the Russian Armies who have done the main work in tearing the guts out of the German army – Winston Churchill

Let’s put aside the fact that Stalin not only trusted Hitler, he trusted Hitler so much that he executed people who reported that Hitler was planning on invading Russia. Let’s put aside the fact that Stalin crippled his own army by killing his own Generals. Let’s put aside the fact that Stalin’s rule in the USSR was so bad that it resulted in countries near him going Fascist out of fear of Communism.

It’s funny how you talk about unity against a common enemy and in the next comment argue exactly against that. Do you deny that the USSR made significant contributions in defeating the nazis?

If you’re going to put words in my mouth, please add a side of nachos?

Where did I say the USSR wasn’t a big part of the War?

                Quote the exact words.

You didn’t explicitly, that’s why I asked you. But you did tiptoe around the fact by citing some agreements that Stalin had with the nazis, as that is some sort of gotcha, right after advocating for a member of the British Conservative Party which led to the ruinous policy of appeasement with the nazis (as a form of anti-communism), so I had some doubts.

                    Here’s a thought.

I said explicitly that the Nazis got beaten by people uniting behind a leadership they didn’t 100% agree with.

Your reaction was to demand that I 100% agree with you about something that happened before either of us was born.

Maybe you’d do better to stop caring about the past and start focusing on what is going on right now.

Why don’t you tell us all, explicitly, why my opinion of Stalin matters right now?

The brown shirt loser was overdue on his rent payment and the landlord asked some locals to help him/her out. Well, the locals were communist party members and they really took it out on him.

I figured this whole thing had legs, like the Wessel story. Appears our attention span is too short to give a shit about a murdered fascist.
