I mean, there’s no way, but hooooooooly fuuuuuuck.
Time to stop using lemmy.world communities, fellas.

I mean, there’s no way, but hooooooooly fuuuuuuck.
The combination of medical student and astrology is more unnerving than your poor burning experience. You could totally write a horror script out of the affair.
Shear a lamb, wear it’s wool, go out into the woods of alaska at night with recording bleating sounds.

In suburban texas, you’re probably getting hit by the uninsured drivers bit, even if you’re not actually getting the uninsured drivers coverage. The area is just bad in regards to the amount of drivers on the road without it.

Now, Republicans can either say, flat out, that they don’t want Americans to have Healthcare.
God almighty. The only thing more annoying than having to listen to all my ya’ll qaeda acquaintances is having to listen to fools who still don’t understand that said ya’ll qaeda do not care about ANYTHING that would resemble logic in politics. They live in a different reality and, no, even this starvation does not touch them in the brain pan.
Thune could just ignore anything about a “special vote.” What are the democrats going to do about it? cue schoolyard bully clip Republicans in the house or senate could literally vote away healthcare with a giant flashing neon sign at the top of the bill that said ‘americans should die!’ and faux news will tell them that the republicans have figured out how the evil democrats were stealing money from america and it’s now been fixed, and they will eat it up and spew it out ad nauseam. You’re not playing politics in america, you’re playing Who’s Line Is It Anyway?: Faux News edition.
Slab culture keeps rolling.
t’s become a wealth/status symbol for people who don’t like the more traditional bougie shit
It’s because they are actual luxury vehicles. Get inside one of the new ones, and it’s basically what you would imagine a lexus or lincoln would be like. All the fanciness, all the nifty little features… Finding one that is actually made to ‘work’ is hard.
I actually have real alarms for that, and yes, I ignore them. Maybe if the device maker didn’t make the alarms go off so annoyingly I would pay attention, but alas…

Oh my god, I’m over here incredibly blue-balled for blue-on-(sort of)blue violence.
I’m reasonably certain that my best fitting spoons are the tablespoon, half tablespoon, third tablespoon, teaspoon, half teaspoon.

They probably will as soon as the concept the meme is pushing dies.

What about this is fascism?
Your loss.
Well now he’s at 142… damn. The dilemma continues.

Is it possible? Of course it’s possible. America is no longer a country under the rule of law. The fact we haven’t had mass executions, starting from the agent who made the ‘grab’ and continuing up the chain until the finale, ending with the president, for court orders being flagrantly violated for deporting people (and all the other ones as well, but I digress) that a court has said should not be deported, is clear evidence america is done as any sort of functioning democracy.

The worst part of it, to me, is that the smiling isn’t even a cover, or faked because she’s still remembering what just happened. The child is dismissed from the mind as soon as it complies, and she’s just so happy to see all the friends at church.

Attacking foot soldiers is fine, if planned well. The trick is getting away and not simply becoming martyrs. If the feds are knocking on your door 6 hours after your little escapade, and the knocker they’re using is a 15 pound block of steel with 10 guys in full swat style body armor and mp5s… well, the ‘resistance’ isn’t going to last long.
The biggest asset any resistance needs is support and the second biggest is invisibility. Americans actually have a portion of the invisibility, since it’s in their backyard, so to speak. They can easily blend in with the general population. The massive amount of cameras and drones and license plate trackers and such are trying to remove that, but it’s not complete at the moment. The support is where we can say a resistance has no chance right now. Imagine if you were in a city, knowing ice is operating in it, and you hear gunshots. A loud pounding is heard at your door a few minutes later, and you can see on your camera/through your window/out the peephole that it’s a mangy looking dude with panic in his eyes. Are you going to open your door and let him in, then deny his presence as cops start swarming the area?
On the internet, all the tough guys will say yes. In reality, we know the answer is going to be much more… fluid.
Sound bite listening republicans on facebook, twitter, etc. These people exist so there is a big enough ‘ecosystem’ to capture the common person who is swayed by public opinion. That is, where public opinion is the vague sense they have of everyone agreeing with them because it’s all they see between little puppy videos or recipe videos or their weird aunt ranting about democrats being evil.
