YL having her licence has been life saving. Today she went grocery shopping for me now she’s driving us to get something to eat. I am milking this as much as I can for now.

I went to the night market, and it was bountiful.
I had
- churrasco. Delicious rump steak.
- chicken momos with chutney. Momo man gave me an extra one because I took his dare on adding All Of The Chilli
- mojito
- mint-choc macaron
- blackberry vodka and soda
- rhubarb and pistachio crumble, with custard and a smattering of rose petals
I am rather interested in that crumble
Blegh day for me I’m interested in just the vodka, possibly in the mojito.

They’ve had one on for Fringe Festival for the past few weeks. Different spread of options
Back from the beach, it was nice. Warm and not too sunny, I had to take my jumper off. It’s starting to get too warm for jeans and boots, will have to start wearing my chinos and hiking sandals.
Found two little murexes, one of them still has all it frills.
On my way home from work now and it feels a bit too warm
It’s warm and sunny outside, but also excessively windy. I’ve mowed the front yard and done another run to Bunnings - they have finally restocked the mulch etc. that they were out of yesterday, so I have another four bales of that. I bought a pot for the mint, and bought a couple of other pots that were on special, I think I’ll try them for some basil and corriander.
I need to find something for lunch then get onto the planting.

Physio fixed my shoulder so I can actually do stuff. Can’t go to rehearsal tomorrow because I haven’t had a chance to learn new material.
I realised today how long it’s been since I’ve just walked around the city. I felt so uncomfortable and that’s not good.
So I’ll be going in everyday I don’t have an interview. There’s a franchise of the gym i go to so two birds one stone.

Good thing I decided to work from home today. One of the kids decided to wake up and have a meltdown at midnight so we were all up quite late.
Lady in my course I was speaking to today also did a partly solo trip to Japan and gave me some details of where she stayed! Her partner did a working holiday over there like my friend is doing, which is a funny coincidence.

frightening dream
2 women and a kid are stuck on a beach. It’s the afterlife.
It won’t stop raining and they’re miserable.
They find a Cafe but it’s not open yet.
A guy turns up. He’s like the overseer of this particular patch of the afterlife. He’s not happy that they are here.
Cafe opens, it’s just a lady that owns it. She let’s the trio come in and get out of the rain. They tell her about the overseer.
He comes past to complain to the cafe owner about the trio. Cafe owner lifts his wallet without him noticing and opens it while he isn’t looking.
She turns to the trio and gets a look of extreme terror on her face, and screams silently.
Everyone disappears except for one of the trio who’s now standing on the beach by herself in the rain. The cafe has also disappeared.
I wake up terrified that someone that should be sleeping next to me has disappeared.
that sounds like a personal version of “The Road”
I rarely wake up afraid but this messed me up for a while.
I still can’t get the look of terror or silent scream out of my head.

If I could sneak fluffball in with me I’d go to a hotel for a few nights to get a break.
There are pet friendly places. We had to stay in one last year while our termites got treated. The 3 cats hated it, but the dog was excited to be on an adventure!
There’s the option of a serviced apartment or air bnb. Some are pet friendly

The book didn’t go into all the pressure Ed endured to abdicate while at the same time wallis was pleading for him to stay on the throne.
I recall a report I read decades ago from courtiers and politicians who were the ones who pressed Ed to resign. Not only was Ed a lazy lying thieving bastard , that could be coped with, it was known he was a nazi , not a sympathiser, a full blown believing nazi who had a pact with hitler to surrender with britain to become part of the 3rd reich empire . ( that includes Australia ) Wallis was a paid spy as were their friends.
This is why they were hated and never forgiven by politicians and his family ( who knew every sordid detail ) til the end.
