I get where you’re coming from, but most people who don’t watch anime don’t have an amount of sexualization of a minor that they consider “soft” or “ironic”
I mean sexualization is a big word in this case. It’s not meant to be attracting in any way. To compare this with the actual sexualization that appears often in other animes would be a bit of a stretch imo
That’s fair, I could see it go either way depending on the viewer since it’s played for laughs rather than for attraction. Some people are more prudish on that than others.
