Interesting. I went into my bathroom and smelt smoke, so I opened up the front door and there’s quite a smokey smell. Nothing on VicEmergency, and I’m not sure who’s got a fire on at the end of a 30° day while it’s still in the 20s
Edit: well I got paranoid so I went for a walk and made sure nothing’s on fire. Am I just smelling the bushfire out near Beaufort? I actually didn’t know that was still going tbh, but I haven’t actually smelt it before
I swear this like the 3rd or 4th year in a row when planned burns occur on the windiest day imaginable. I know that these are scheduled some time in advance, but surely there is some contingency.

I was smelling it a night or two ago and heard sirens so maybe something happened

Yeh I woke up at 3am and had to close all my windows because of it. Checking now, my particulate matter sensor went crazy then
