Also the nitrile gloves for chopping chillies are waaay better than latex. I can still feel my hands!

Awful weekend. I have some not nice people in my family, and even though I mostly avoid contact, sometimes I get dragged into messes. And I feel a sad for them because they need help and there is no one else. And I still care about them. But when I try to help, at their request, I cop insults and hatefulness instead of thanks. I’m emotionally exhausted. I have a stress headache. Those of you who have nice families, tell them you love them and appreciate them. Not everyone has such good luck.

Tonight’s little sunset swim wave:

The lights you can see just above the wave are just windows reflecting the sunset. On this side of the bay we call that (arthur’s seat, mornington etc.) the dark side.

Lovely colours tonight though.

The city is so beautiful this time of year. Today I’m going to try to write down some thoughts and watch the local waterfowl
