Garlic and horseradish tablets to dry out the snot. Lots of fluids. Rest. Panadol. Eat little bits when you’re feeling like it, I lived on rice crackers and cream cheese last time.

Chicken soup won’t cure you but it sure will make you feel better. Panadol or nurofen will help with fever and aches.

I’ve had it twice. First time was very rough, solid 2 weeks of existing on the plane of pain.

Black lemon honey tea helps, if only to get sugar and water into you. Bread as it’s a neutral inoffensive food. Lots of water, sleep whenever you can to jump forward in time.

      Keep cosy and comfortable

Wish I could help, but I can’t. So far I’ve missed having it. Sending get well soon vibes.

I seem to remember that icypoles/icecream apparently helps a bit with symptoms. Worth a try.
