When Trump inevitably dies, all of these trumpers will talk about how they didn’t like him and thought he was a tyrant. Don’t let them. They necessarily have to be removed from our society.

That didn’t even work in Nazi Germany. Unless there’s a revolution in the US, the fascism will just be whitewashed.

Like the first West German government had more ex-Nazi party members forming it than the actual Nazi government. The first general of NATO was a Nazi general. The CIA of Germany was formed by Reinhardt Gehlen, a Nazi spy. He was the director for YEARS. Like from the Gehlen Org (predecessor to the BND - German CIA) to the actual BND he was the president and director for over two decades. A Nazi spy master was the director of the German CIA for over TWO DECADES. From 1947 to 1968. SIXTY EIGHT.

Lots of Trump supporters are happy to admit they don’t like him as a person (he’s not “churchy”) but they like what he’s doing (supporting Christian nationalism).

In the immediate aftermath of losing to Biden in 2020, the conservatives on Reddit moaned about how bad Trump was and how he did a terrible job. The same people voted for him then and again in 2024. They know all these things about it, but they like it and want it.

I hate to break it to you, but if you send 30% of Americans to the death squads you are now the problem.

Can we pweeese at least fill up alligator Alcatraz to 2x capacity with the voters? There’s gotta be some kind of poetic justice. If 30% of the country sees these deportations as legal and just then I don’t see why they shouldn’t be happy to receive them.

I understand where the confusion came from. I’m talking about the people in the article, which I guess were CPB not ICE but there isn’t much difference between the two, neither follow the law.

Edit: dang you’re taking an unfair beating for talking about a subthread instead of the article when the discussion was clearly ambiguous lol

They’ll only ever do that if the political climate shifts in a way that makes being MAGA toxic. If he dies before that, they’ll gather in stadiums to celebrate his passing as a hero, like they did for Charlie Kirk.

If the death of Kirky thought me anything it’s that; even here, halfway across the world, the most seemingly sane of us will come out to mourn Trump and remember ‘the good things that he did’. Death is a convenient way to whitewash the hell out of terrible people and make them into martyrs.

the gop is basically magaGOP , if magaMANIA dies the gop will decline significantly, since most of the old guard already being replaced.
