All of these grim, and sadly all too predictable factors, threaten to topple the whole ceasefire process.

Israel 100% knew that Hamas couldn’t return all the dead hostages that they “accidentally” killed when they indiscriminately carpet bombed everything. Where they would even store the bodies, in the non-existent non-refrigerated morgues? How they could even retrieve the dead bodies if it’s under tons of rubble and the iof kills everyone on sight?
So now they’re playing the card “they’re not returning the dead hostages!!!11!” and then can restart the final solution genocide
What is astounding is how much support Israel is getting from the mainstream media right now to push their narrative.

As long as it depends on the will of Israel alone, there won’t be any safeguards against that. Only the presence of some third party, e.g. peacemaker troops from Europe, would prevent the hostilities. Just someone, anyone they would be afraid to outright bomb and, probably, one that can return fire if needed.
