Today is a seasol day. Yesterday was a dynamic lifter day. Drastically underestimated the amount of dynamic lifter but I suppose that’s not a bad thing because of the smell. Will do it in batches.

And the habanero / thai cross proved to be a very good tree to overwinter. Half the taste of habs but still hot af. Never stopped fruiting over winter (and lost very few leaves). Heaps of buds coming along so looks like early chillies this year.
Also heading to a gig tonight for the first time in ages. Will be more on the milder side of things so interesting to see what sort of crowd. At any rate looks like a lot of people are going (for that type of music lol) which is good to see.
That’s looking pretty good, I’m a touch jealous of anyone who has actual plants at the moment.
I’m planning to use Rooster Booster instead of Dynamic Lifter, then add a bit extra Nitrogen around the leafy crops (probably blood and bone). Maybe some Charlie Carp pellets around the natives.

Wind is absolutely wild out there. It’s recycling bin day and there are so many boxes and things blowing around the streets it’s crazy. I definitely won’t be doing any gardening today. I could try washing my sheets, they would either blow dry in 10 minutes or get caught by the wind and end up down the street in the dam.

I was too tired/lazy to cook and most in the house wanted kebab for dinner, but I chose falafel instead. It came in a sectioned tray like an IKEA meal, four falafel and a feeble salad (the same salad spread out over the two smaller sections of the tray lol) with chunks of bread in a separate bag and two tiny tubs of dips. One dip was barely passable red capsicum and the other was an attempt at baba ghanouj which looked like the substance squeezed from a smokers lungs in a tv commercial from the 80s and tasted even worse. In all, a pathetic effort.
That’s a sad meal.

I have practically no tidying of cupboards and drawers to do, which is the Fri morning task. I’m already pretty well organised in that regard. Garage is another question but even that is pretty good. That leaves ordinary daily upkeep, a little bit of gardening and afternoons are free. 😊

It’s time for a windy morning dog walk. Mr Woof always looks so sleek and streamlined with a headwind, then we turn around and get a tailwind and he looks like a complete mess. Wind creating a part around the butt hole is never an attractive look. 💨🐕
I really felt it on the last stretch of the ride to work. They’re still building out this industrial area so one part is just a massive open field with a road going through it and I copped the full headwind.
I feel like a headwind might be better than a side wind when riding, it makes for harder work but doesn’t impact balance as much.
I’m on the edge of a new estate which is surrounded by open fields on three sides and still has a lot of vacant blocks and very little vegetation, so the wind gets extra wild through here too.
I feel your pain, mr woof (except for the butthole bit, fortunately). Arrived at work sporting the ‘dragged through a hedge backwards’ look today
