Update
DIL has pupped out 2ndkid, and had surgery immediately after for other issues. Both doing fine. DIL’s mum is present and will be doing the 1stkid wrangling from now on for a bit. So I’m not needed. Thank gods for the German health care system - it’s been a joy to navigate compared to here.

Went to Sweet By Nature in Heidelberg and picked up some bulk brownie offcuts and some mini new York cheesecakes. Unfortunately two very tired boys banged their heads on the same table and would not calm down so we had to leave early

Wind on rubbish collection day is always fun. I picked up a bunch of wrappers blown into the corner of the yard, but Mr Woof made off with an empty chocolate wrapper before I could stop him. It was a catch and release, I can now see it blowing around the back yard. I also picked up the instructions for how to install hybrid floor boards that have presumably escaped from a nearby building site.
