  • my comment was about how both sound like seniors refusing to step down and are holding back progress by doing such which is why seniors get put up as president

easier to control the narrative that way

Fact-checkers and news organizations have documented false and misleading statements made by President Joe Biden on a range of topics. These claims have been made during public speeches, interviews, and on the campaign trail.

    Economy and inflation

Inflation rate: On several occasions, Biden has claimed to have inherited a high inflation rate of around 9% from the previous administration. In fact, when he took office in January 2021, the inflation rate was 1.4% and did not peak at 9% until June 2022.

Deficit reduction: Biden has repeatedly stated that he cut the federal deficit by over $1 trillion. While the annual deficit did drop significantly, analysts have noted that this was mainly due to the expiration of temporary pandemic-related spending, rather than the effects of Biden’s policies alone. Many of his actions have increased, not decreased, the deficit.

Corporate taxes: Biden has falsely claimed that after he signed the Inflation Reduction Act, no large, profitable corporations would pay zero federal income taxes. The new 15% corporate minimum tax only applies to companies with at least $1 billion in annual income, leaving many large firms unaffected.

Billionaires’ tax rate: He has cited a figure of 8.3% as the average federal tax rate for billionaires. Fact-checkers note that this figure is misleading because it is based on an alternative calculation that includes unrealized capital gains, which are not currently taxable income.

    Personal biography

Uncle Ambrose Finnegan: Biden has told a story that his uncle, Ambrose Finnegan, was shot down over New Guinea during World War II and that his body was never recovered because it landed in an area with cannibals. The official Defense Department account states that Finnegan’s plane crashed into the ocean due to mechanical failure, not from being shot down, and there is no mention of cannibalism.

Driving a truck: Biden has falsely claimed to have driven an 18-wheeler truck. While he did ride in one, a commercial driver’s license was never in his name.

Amtrak story: He has repeatedly told a story about an Amtrak conductor named Angelo Negri who congratulated him on his travel mileage. However, Negri had retired and passed away before the recounted conversation could have taken place.

Youngest Senator: Biden has claimed to be the second-youngest person ever elected to the Senate. He was actually the sixth-youngest at the time of his election.

Visits to Iraq and Afghanistan: Biden has overstated the number of times he visited Iraq and Afghanistan as a senator and vice president, claiming figures higher than those his own campaign provided.

    Other claims

Israel and weapons: In a July 2024 interview, Biden made several false claims about the provision of weapons to Israel, including stating that he was only withholding one type of bomb. In fact, his administration had withheld a shipment of 2,000-pound bombs, but he has made other, often contradictory, statements on the matter.

China’s population: In April 2024, Biden claimed that China has more people in retirement than working. This is false, as statistics show China has more than double the number of working-age people compared to its senior population.

US southern border: In July 2024, Biden misleadingly claimed that the number of US encounters with migrants at the southern border was at its lowest point since he took office. While encounters had recently dropped, the numbers were much lower during the majority of the previous administration.

  • the whole dnc this year exemplified and was iconic of the democrat party and had their full face shown mask off

but in full on football politics fashion democrats just like republicans get blindly straight color ticket voted on using voting machines that are the property of some unknown company without a wikipedia page to do it with

and the information that got them to cast a blind vote for red or blue came from media that is owned by the same groups that own the voting machine

and citizens are taught how to interpret data at schools which use materials that are owned by the same ones control the media and the vote machines

    democracy is dead

  • Typically if on food stamps on a fixed budget but people were told at the end of the month right before funds were reloaded making this advice horseshit

Maybe we should do what the Democrats and Republicans want and subsidize it with private industry

Remember folks we have to vote straight ticket and never look at the candidates only the first letter of their party and what the candidates favorite color is matters

Democrats are on your side they say so and Republicans bad all their fault we have to subsidize everything and compromise and we can always try harder later

blue good because they say so and all the Republicans fault the Democrats good

    Vote blue
