American businesses will spend millions of dollars to hold an event almost no one outside their little circle of friends will even hear about in order to tell the public to do a thing they have no real choice in.

    Like we have a choice.

It would take me just under 3 hours to get to work using public transportation. One way. About $7 total per trip. Now double both of those things and if you squint really hard you’ll understand why I hate all the “fuck cars” dipshits. They might as well call it “, “fuck not being with Scarlett Johansson” because yes, obviously, but now you’re just living in fantasy land.

The reason you don’t have a choice is because of what is described in the headline. You’re close to understanding “fuck cars”, you just need to go a few steps further.

Moron. The whole point about ‘fuck cars’ is about choice. The entire problem is the fact that it shouldn’t take 3 hrs to get to work using public transport. There should be options. We shouldn’t have to depend on cars to get around—where are the trains and buses and bike lanes and even walking paths?

Like you are making the case for ‘fuck cars’ lmao, you’re the dipshit 🤣
