ABC News is not renewing its contract with senior national correspondent Terry Moran after a controversial tweet, now deleted, in which he criticized Stephen Miller, a long time adviser to President Donald Trump, as a "world-class hater."
All of the legacy media has a bias toward the right. ALL of them. The only time I’ve heard them be objective is when they all asserted, repeatedly, that The Big Lie was in fact a falsehood. And that was because THEY were accused of negligence.
Outside of that, they’re always showing the left at their worst and allowing the right to pitch their radicalism. They need the left to be sensationalist and the right has to be sane washed because reality is so extreme that people assume the news is sensationalizing them.
Private media panders to the source of its revenue, which is private industry.
Silicon Valley is tilted hard right. Wall Street is hard right. US Heavy industry is hard right. Consumer manufacturing/shipping is economically right wing, even when its occasionally got social liberal pastiche.
Trump’s made himself the singular conduit through which private industry lands the trillions in public spending. So private industry bows to him.
If we were in a country with a heavily socialist economic system, the game would be different. Cubans aren’t getting an earful about how cool Steven Miller is. Nicaraguan bureaucrats have no need to appease Elon’s DOGE teams. Nobody in South Africa is producing hagiographies for Pete Hegseth.
Ah, so ABC news admits to being a propaganda wing of the regime.
Great. Well at least there aren’t any questions about it.

So they fall back on “both sides” yet again.
