Capitalists love having an excuse to do whatever shitty thing they’ve been planning to do all along. Whether that excuse is inflation, high unemployment, competition, covid, “the market,” or most recently, ai — they’ll find an excuse to have their shitty little way.
Only when these factors work against the owner’s ability to generate unlimited profits does it become a problem that we need to address.
There’s a threshold to that, otherwise climate change would’ve been solved. But since it only affects a bit of agriculture and fishing, they just raise prices and continue with the same.
We will soon get the human out of this…
