    Assembly Bill 666

Matt Moneymaker, a longtime Bigfoot researcher

I know we’re in the bizarro timeline, but really?

I know, it’s like the AI in control of our simulation isn’t even trying anymore.

Yeah, I had to check if he was somehow related to Moneymaker Mike. (He is not.)

As the “official state cryptid,” and not as a real, documented species.

It’s like voting on an official state imaginary friend.

Separation of church and state makes that more difficult.

Can we do twin cryptids? Say, California and Scotland twinning Bigfoot and Nessie?

The idea of state cryptids rule. I love that.

Folklore is such a deeply ingrained part of a location; and it’s cool to recognize it. It even reflects and potentially honors the past of previous Native Legends.

It’s a shame that if it ever catches on nation wide it’s going to be nothing but Bigfoot and Loch Ness analogs, like six states have the mocking bird as their state bird.
