    Is there some kind of wordplay that I’m missing in the third panel?

    Or is it just because the bear says ‘beach’?

      No. What context do you feel like you’re lacking? It’s on the surface for this joke. Her comedy is silly and not overly deep, but it’s often way funnier than most other web comics (in my opinion).
