Sometimes I wonder if the Gas Lobby is some sort of Death Cult, where they want to destroy the natural environment, make the world unliveable for even humans and then cause an apocalypse and induce some sort of Rapture.
Love of money is the root of all evil.
Well it’s either that or they have such a rock-bottom IQ that they cannot fathom how their industry is boiling the planet alive and after being told this, just cannot comprehend that they too will be boiled alive.
Or so deeply evil that they know and understand this, but just don’t care.
But either way, they are dogshit humans who need to be removed from their companies and put in prison for the rest of their miserable existence for what they’ve done to the planet in the name of profit.
There is allegedly a “Christian” sect that believe that the only way they will get to heaven is if they consume all the resources on the planet to generate population.
They also believe that the trigger for this Rapture is to completely eliminate every other Abrahamic religion, either through conversion or genocide.
Apparently this sect was critical in creating Zionism.
It’s all just deep-seated damage and mental illness. Their inability to constructively deal with reality and instead, to cope, build these completely fantasy stories that they all convince each other are true.
I’m not surprised a sect like that exists and that they made a cult like that.
The public scare campaign seems a bit redundant. In the halls of parliament house they already have several lobbyists schooling around each of our pollies like remoras. The public are an afterthought for this issue.
Australia is a lucky country run mainly by second rate people who share its luck. It lives on other people’s ideas, and, although its ordinary people are adaptable, most of its leaders (in all fields) so lack curiosity about the events that surround them that they are often taken by surprise.
