Good morning, checking out Lemmy, then back to coding freedom software followed by BJJ.

Great stuff. I just avoid telling my GP about my injuries…I’ve gotten used to most of them.

Good plan. I had a hernia repair last year, surgeon said I can back to training after 6 weeks. I waited about 10 until hitting the mats and another 2 before I started rolling.

It wasn’t so much the hernia area that hurt, it was everything else after being off for so long. Had some groin pain after, got another scan and was told it’s just inflammation of the area.

Very cautious now anytime there’s a tweak below the equator.

Well that was eventful… I just got woken up by elder minipeeler because there was a cricket in his room. It dashed under the bed so we had to pull everything out from under there and then I caught it in a jar and yeeted it into the garden. What is a cricket doing inside FFS. They’ve finally shut up outside and are now invading the house!

Ear infection for third time this year. Had antibiotics twice. The better doctor near me is booked out until June. The crap doctor told me to take an antihistamine, plus I want to talk about a lady problem and my sleep screaming so don’t want to see him. Time to find a new doctor.

Update on my Australian Knitting Mills recommendation, I’ve washed the four singlets I got. Two are fine, one has become short and one has become wide. They might not have the greatest quality control and I just got lucky with the socks and initial tester singlet.

Little dog is at vet cos he had an abscess he wouldn’t let anyone look at so they have to sedate him. I asked to be sedated too but I didn’t get an answer to that one. I now have carpet to clean.

    Back down the beach.

tradition is usually get 2 potato cakes from the station on the way through. Not with this tum tum :( Lady sitting next to me was munching on hers and every crunch was just cruel.

Good thing I didn’t though because the gastro stop stopped working about 5 minutes after I got in the door. 😶

got a new usb flash to use to transfer music , hopefully to legacy windows player

I used to love playing music on my phone and computer, until itunes fucked everything up

from illegally changing file names on non apple music to changing special release albums to standard, thereby losing live music and extras, not transfering other music I own, I am done with them

I am now not going to my phone or itunes/music at all, it’s back to windows media player on my lap top

my problem is that I want to use my stuff on my terms

    not that apple cares

apple is such a strange company, their products are not too bad, they make great movies and tv

but they don’t integrate well with other systems at all

this phone is such a waste of money for me

They don’t want to integrate, they just want to completely control what you use so they can dictate what you do and don’t see. They’re not the only ones, of course, but they’re one of the few companies I feel is so obvious about it.

Caught a tummy bug which hit on Sun. Went to bed at 5pm and the shivering was extreme for about 10 mins then it just stopped. Don’t even shiver with the cold swims it was wild. Thermoregulation in bed was borked. Sleep in the nud = overheat, sleep with clothes on = no overheat. Heater off, windows open. Weird.

Glad that’s mainly over jeez not pleasant. Wore a path in the carpet going to the loo every hr or so.
