minus-squareLittle8Lost@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up4arrow-down2·1 month agoLike the other comment: unspoilered apider is bad. I agree that spiders are nice “self sustaining pets” (and i think they cute) but please dont scare people because someone olse rubbed you the wrong way. Fear is sadly an AOE attack
minus-squareLodespawn@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3arrow-down1·1 month agoIt’s a thread about bugs, calm down.
minus-squareKubeRoot@discuss.tchncs.delinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8arrow-down8·1 month agoReplying with an unspoilered image of a spider to what is quite possibly an arachnophobic declining spiders seems like a bit of a dick move
minus-squarevillage604@adultswim.fanlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3arrow-down2·1 month agoI think you’re reading way too much into a parrot reaction gif.
minus-squareLodespawn@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up3arrow-down2·1 month agoBit of an over reaction given the whole thread is about bug you like in your house. Calm down please.

minus-squaregreenskye@lemmy.ziplinkfedilinkarrow-up13·1 month agoSpiders are welcome to the basement. Currently I’ve got one posted in pretty much every corner down there. Those guys are chill. I’m also okay with out of the way corner spiders up near ceilings, but only if they aren’t too big.
minus-squareRhaedas@fedia.iolinkfedilinkarrow-up14arrow-down1·1 month agoMaybe because it was for the stricter definition of bugs?
minus-squareLodespawn@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up20·1 month agoOne of the dictionary definitions for “bug” is: A small invertebrate with many legs, such as a spider or a centipede. How could you be opposed to this little guy?
minus-squareRhaedas@fedia.iolinkfedilinkarrow-up9·1 month agoYes, but definitions are ordered by their frequency, and the one I saw listed that usage as third. Technically… And I love spiders. They’re the cats of the bug world.
minus-squareLodespawn@aussie.zonelinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·1 month agoTrue, still listed in official definition.
