Sounds exciting… so what’s the catch?
Cost, MB announced solid state batteries a couple of years ago. We’ll see if they can be mass produced beyond a couple lines of cars.
And vibration problems AFAIK which don’t effect stand alone installs where solid state isn’t really needed but does have issues in vehicles.
