    I’m glad they are doing this, but I’d like them to focus on survivability for people not in vehicles. 2 giant SUVs hit each other, I’m glad everyone survived. (If they do). That doesn’t mean anything about hitting other objects/pedestrians/animals/etc.

    If your device is 40% more likely to kill a pedestrian, then it should cost 40% more of insurance/registration no matter who the driver is.

      100% correct. Apart from overproduction, this is the biggest problem with cars. Absolutely no one needs an SUV that weighs tons, it uses more gas and it’s way more dangerous. Honestly, there should be an upper weight/size limit on cars.

    Honestly, about time.

    The scaled-up child/scaled-down man dummy that’s been used for ages is not a good representation of female anatomy.
