Yeah, 50 is nice until you want to zoom. I’ve found a lot of use with a 70-300 I got cheapish a month or so after getting my first camera but the electronics are becoming less reliable so I’m looking at others in the same range now. Very easy to spend a lot of money but I’ve been having fun with some weird vintage lenses. Got a 500mm soviet one a couple of months ago and that’s surprisingly sharp, I think I spent around £30 on it.
I really need to buy a new lens for my camera. This meme explains it all for anyone who would like to ask me why I haven’t bought one yet.
Do you or is it just gas?
I have a 50mm lens that came with the camera itself. However, it’s not great for long distance shot. I need better and wider lens for that purpose.

Fair. Something tighter though, no? Secondhand is always the way to go for keeping cost down.
