Serious money bags. Not only have they bought somewhere, they’re redecorating it and getting rid of the carpet the old owner left!

Exactly. Buying a carpet implies they’ve already bought somewhere to fit the carpet

Very true. I’m not saying it’s something that would be soon. These are discussions that should be now, to help determine morally where we as societies want to go with the new technology.
While this is fabulous news I do worry that there could be similar done for other genetic conditions that are far more contentious as to whether they’re a disability not.
Neurodivergence is the one that springs to mind right away. The majority of people on the autism spectrum are at level 1. While it has negatives there are positives into thinking and seeing the world differently.
How many of those would have been ‘curered’ in the womb by scared parents who’ve just been told that their child will be born autistic? Scared parents who’s fear will mean when hearing that they think of someone at the far end of level 3.
Then what about for ADHD and dyslexia.
What about other physical conditions like dwarfism etc.
Pretty sure that’s the point they’re trying to make.
You could just do that first
As a Brit I don’t get the punchline
Which is why they’re looking to add a easy to reed short overview.
some article summaries can be quite dense and filled with technical jargon, but that Al features needed to be cleared labeled as such and that users needed an easy to way to flag issues with "machine-generated/remixed content once it was published or generated automatically.
I feel like if they feel that this is an issue generate the summary in the talk page and have the editors refine and approve it before publishing. Alternatively set an expectation that the article summaries are in plain English.

This ain’t bad. I joint at the height of beans.
Not like the picture. The rope was more to stop you falling off the bench where you were sitting up asleep.
For an extra penny [than a one penny sit up] you could pay to sleep literally hanging over a rope. This was possibly marginally more comfortable, as if you fell asleep the rope would prevent you from slipping onto the floor or head-butting the bench in front of you.

Edit - none of the sites mentioning it have any sources. The closest to a source I’ve found quickly is this passage from Dickens Pitwick Papers, which to me doesn’t sound like the arrangement as described in the photo but perhaps something more akin to hammocks. Especially given the part that says “down falls the lodgers”
And pray Sam, what is the twopenny rope?’ inquired Mr. Pickwick. ‘The Twopenny rope, sir,’ replied Mr. Weller, ‘is just a cheap lodgin’ house where the beds is twopence a night!’ ‘What do they call a bed a rope for?’ said Mr. Pickwick. ‘Well the advantage o’ the plan’s obvious. At six o’clock every mornin’, they lets go the ropes at one end, and down falls all the lodgers. Consequence is that, being thoroughly waked, they get up very quickly, and walk away.’”
This site https://www.geriwalton.com/victorian-four-penny-coffins-penny-beds-homelessness/ says that the coffins were actually 2 pennies, or 4 with a meal. So why would someone sit over a rope for the same price? Again a hammock type arrangement here seems more logical to me.
In the UK it’s all rolled up into the “service charge”. Including the “loads of other companies couldn’t manage themselves properly and went bust and we had to take on their customers fee”
Sorry I mispoke on sausages. The vast majority contain pork. Also, no, must sausages are at least 52% “meat” https://www.which.co.uk/news/article/how-much-pork-is-in-your-sausage-agh7z1h30Aj5
Strips are clearly bacon. The vast majority of sausages are pork.
Oh and there’s a full ham hanging up (with the star on it)
If you don’t say the incantation exactly right it works on iron instead of lead. You now have a stammer.
