to my knowledge, the difference between an air fryer and a convection toaster oven is that the air fryer has a stronger fan. either way, with mine (it was called an air fryer on the box at the big box store) you can choose whether the fan is on or off.
we rarely use our actual oven now since the countertop thing works so much faster.
I’m sorry, how many recipes do you need for air frying food? It controls temps and time. What other variable is there to warrant app connectivity?
