I don’t want to defend the Honda Element here, because it is ugly as fuck. But I will say, I got into a friend’s Element a few years ago and was shocked at how much space it has inside.
Other cars pull a lot of tricks to make them “feel” more roomy inside. But Honda just went “fuck it, big ass cube” and didn’t need any tricks.
Absolutely my favorite vehicle I have ever had. My mom was disabled and we have had to use SUVs and pickups and vans my whole life, before anyone jumps me for the environmental aspect. But it was genuinely the nicest vehicle I’ve ever had. Loved everything about it.

Hey it’s not your fault they’re not building electric vehicles that are as friendly to the disabled!
Sad that these cars didn’t get better gas mileage, but the aerodynamics are indeed terrible.
Still way more aerodynamic than the smallest model truck in the USA
