    Well. So here’s the thing.

Gibson doesn’t like to wear things. And after several rounds of Mortal Kombat (and antibiotics for me and a tetnus shot tomorrow) we had to go back to the vet for the cone of shame.

There are padded puffy alternatives to the cone. You might be able to overnight order one.

If that fails and you are as close as you suggested the other day, ping me.

Kmart has inflatable donuts but sometimes cats might still be able to reach with those.

Oh dear. Poor Gibson has had a day. If you’re home and observing she might manage without the cone. In the past I’ve connected the cone to a separate collar to make it easier to get on and off too.

The vet will call me tomorrow and we can see if I can take it off. I’m going to be out a lot of the week for interviews but I have to admit she accepted it a lot better than the suit.

Any idea which bowl is best for water?

          Elevate the bowl

Eg those two ceramic ones, flip one and put the other on top

A small one that fits inside the cone, with a towel ready!

I never used a cone with cats, just observed them and the cats never did anything.
