NEW YORK (AP) — Kraft Heinz is splitting into two companies a decade after a merger of the brands created one of the biggest food manufacturers on the planet.
One of the companies, currently called Global Taste Elevation Co., will include brands such as Heinz, Philadelphia cream cheese and Kraft Mac & Cheese, Kraft Heinz said Tuesday. The other, currently called North American Grocery Co., will include slower-selling brands like Maxwell House, Oscar Mayer, Kraft Singles and Lunchables. The official names of the two companies will be released later.
Kraft Heinz said in May that it was conducting a strategic review of the company, signaling a potential split. It expects the transaction to close in the second half of 2026.
Well, I certainly won’t notice if they change the flavor again, because I won’t buy any US products as long as the fascists are in charge in America—and it looks like that will be the case for an indefinite period of time.
Sorry Heinz, but you can fuck right off.
Adding to this. It’s Really not hard to just make your own. https://www.thepetitecook.com/easy-homemade-ketchup/
French’s is much better anyway.
I would try it if it weren’t also a US company.
I was misled, you are correct. Although the ketchup is made here in Canada, so that helps.
I wish there were more Canadian products available from our retailers in Europe. Especially atm, I would stock up on them to show my support for the country in its trade war with the US. Unfortunately, I can’t remember ever consciously buying a product from Canada—except for maple syrup, which of course has to come from Canada.
French’s just changed their mustard recipe and my whole house rioted because it tastes “wrong now.” I don’t eat mustard but my husband and kids made me go to the discount grocery to stock up on “old French’s” before it goes away.
Wait what? I have a bottle I bought recently that I haven’t opened yet. Now I’m curious about how it’ll taste.
As long as it’s not Hunt’s.
I don’t think I’ve tried French’s ketchup. Their mustard is my preferred mustard though.
oh dude i just realized four of my favorite mustards are statesian. this tariff business is gonna suck
