I think having neurotypical expectations put on me and having a family who aren’t always the best at communicating contributes to some of my difficulties. But the ones that bother me the most like procrastination and emotional regulation are mostly a me thing I think. I think I do need to develop the resilience to move past these difficulties.
But that sounds like a good book to read. Thanks for the rec :)
I have found every small win helps every other difficulty
with a better skill set at recognising and handling dysfunctional communication coming from others we get less reactive, less frustrated , it becomes a them problem, not a me problem
so many hugs
can I suggest the book “When I Say No I Feel Guilty” , it gives you real examples of difficult family situations and how to say no
because sometimes our difficulties are just a lack of a skill set
