    The irony here is that, to me at least, someone that is comfortable being themself is generally much more attractive than someone trying to look good for the sake of looking good.

    I had to get glasses for the first time last year, and I got a normal looking pair and a pair with rainbow frames, and the rainbow ones are the ones I’ve ended up wearing the most. They don’t make me look good per se but I love them and I get tons of “I love your glasses!” every day which increases the total happiness in the world.

      Same with me and hats: I WANT to wear them for ME, but can’t get past the collective mental image of men who do almost invariably being douchecanoes.

      That and it’s difficult to find any that fit my enormous head 🤷

        I’m not worried about other ruing them so much as I pretty much only wear solid colour shirts and that feels like too big of a change for me, plus I have yet to find one with a collection of things on it that really appeals to me
