Not every Marvel movie is bad… It’s just that after releasing so many, you’d think more of them would be good.

I feel like this is just hating 😭 If you can’t name ONE good Marvel movie after Iron Man, then you just don’t like Marvel or The MCU at all, or stopped watching them. I’m not even saying 5 or 10. There’s like 36 of them. The first Captain America, Doctor Strange, Endgame, Spider-Man, Guardians–, if you just hate ALL of them, then there was never going to be a Marvel movie you enjoyed. The first Iron Man is great, but I’m not sure if it makes Top 3 out of every MCU movie tbh.

I’ve watch a lot of them not because I wanted to, when I’ve said that most Marvel movies are utter shit people get angry and typically coerce me in some way to see them, like : you didn’t see it your opinions are not of value blah blah blah.

The first Ant Man had potential but they fired the director exactly because it had potential.

The first Daredevil series was ok maybe a little bit more but it start going down the hill shortly after.

Each Marvel are build the same fucking way and doubly so after GotG which make them not unique at all. They’re always the same thing movie after movie after movie. Easy movie making for the most money

At least the first Iron Man was new (Black Panther had really cool design and prop makers)

Nolan’s Batman was a great work because it was not the same 3 movies, that’s not that hard but that’s not what Marvel/Disney want to do and what they are doing is bleeding their franchise dry.

I love Comic but Disney is killing it

Well, I’m agreeing with everything @JadaTaykesIt@lemmy.world answered to this, but I genuinely don’t know why, if Marvel movies are just generally something you don’t like, Iron Man 1 is such an exception.

As they also said, especially in the beginning there were many really highly praised movies. Especially the original Avengers movie, Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy and Civil War.

Yeah, I’m not gonna stan marvel movies, but Iron Man 1 as the ONLY marvel movie you think is good is certainly a take… I don’t know what the BEST marvel movie is, but it’s hard to pick one, and not think another one similarly hits what you liked about that one. Maybe they just really liked Iron Man specifically and after Tony told the world he was Iron Man it just killed it for him once all the other heroes started getting screentime.

I’ll admit, I didn’t really care much for the MCU until Spidey showed up, and it wasn’t until catching up that I realized that I quiet enjoyed a few of them. For every miss, there’s usually a hit, and a lot of mid-tier ones.

          High praise don’t means good.

But I’ve said my piece and I’ve seen most of the counter arguments already, none made me change my mind.

          MCU was a mistake
