A lot more people than just astronauts, as the NOAA cuts to Texas weather forecasting proved.
Apparently, the Texas floods was part of tropical storm. I knew there was a lot of storms brewing down south (I unfortunately live in the region) but I didn’t realize it was that bad and I keep track of the weather like a hawk.
I also live in that area, but only know it’s gonna rain when things get wet.

Yeah fuck that. I’ve been making my opinions known whenever the topic comes up, with mixed results. Turns out MAGAts really love to throw fists when their world view is shown to be a farce. But fuck it, I’m not about to submit to the Galactic Empire silently.

A few measly dead astronauts are such a cheap price to pay for millions in taxes that we don’t have to pay anymore! …errrr… I mean, jobs! Yeah… Jobs! We’re totally going to create more jobs with the money we save… And raises! Yeah… Because you know we totally did that the last time we had this huge tax cut for us!
