Even if fediverse is a nightmare, SNS owned by big tech would be more worse than it.
We have been using OOP for a long time and have evolved our thinking through experience. We need to redefine a new paradigm that retains the good parts of OOP and removes the bad parts.
kbin.social has m/art magazine. I hope you would post to there to make here a great place in fediverse.
I want to focus on how I can contribute fediverse rather than worrying about Reddit.
@SJ_Zero Yeah I like Fediverse because it forces nothing to me and I can be free. If I do something foolish, others in fediverse would blam me (with kindness, I wish) and the situation makes me more wise. I hope SNS may become such place, not be a place where it hides things that are inconvenient for me.
Fediverse should be free and no one should rule over it.
What Meta should be defederated or not is owed by every instances.
By the way, Meta has a lot of scam accounts now, so it should be defederated from my instance.
What I can do is only to post my activity to fedi instances with fun, even if fedi will win/lose.
Don’t get on the popularity game.
Just make fun and keep yourself healthy.
It seems an opinion aiming to functional limitation of the SNS tools to curb foolish thinking of people.
I think the means and the end are reversed.
IMO, SNS tools should finally aim to cultivate people’s wisdom.
To achieve this, it should allow them to visualize people’s foolish ideas, not to hide them, while allowing them to discuss corrective measures.
It shows how Reddit is loved by fediverse people.
Be aware that thoughts of capitalists are based upon money, not based upon mind. Growing up means that of price, not of people.
Everyone’s creativity is the most important to success fediverse IMO
I’m already doing it as I can and sometime getting downvote, but I’m fine.
What does it mean to discuss free and open software off the record?
And then, what do they want Reddit to be from now? Any new comments, threads, subs won’t be there in the future if active users go out, I can’t understand them.
Reddit admin seems to have been replaced with terrible AI
I like gamedev because it would be all-round programming experience.
As if a boxer take a big swing with poor aim and consume too much stamina.
Thank you for your good work!
Reports showing the relationship between programming languages and salaries misinterpret cause and effect. The higher the salary, the more niche languages are available. PHP is still the dominant language among all programmers.
BTW looking for Fireship to post recent reddit migration report.
lol There are license info at FAQ on 09 Docs.
