Force motherfucker! Do you use it?
Force motherfucker! Do you use it?
They want/need more vilification. The further they vilify, the further they can go on things like project 2025.
Eg you can say they vilified the left 10 years ago, but 10 years ago they wouldn’t have gotten away with deploying the national guard. They get away with it now because of the last 10 years of vilifying even more. Now imagine what they’ll be able to do in the next 5 to 10 years.
The goal is complete vilification. Then it’s “won’t someone please rid me of these troublesome Democrats”.
They didn’t capitulate. The decision maker wanted to do it.
When the people that operate them are all in. This is what Fascism is, when people want to give them their power.
And beeline to the poc.
It’s not always a perfect lineup and you can get two fighting for a shell (not necessarily the largest), and they can’t go back to their old shell because it’s now taken.
Inflation going down doesn’t mean prices go down.
Except in the mad scramble a crab can be left without a shell, leading to certain death. Make of that what you will.
Trump’s plans to deploy the National Guard have occasionally hit legal hurdles. A federal judge in Oregon on Sunday blocked him from sending guard members from any state to Portland. The next day, Trump said publicly that he would invoke the Insurrection Act “if it was necessary.”
“If people were being killed and courts were holding us up or governors or mayors were holding us up, sure, I’d do that,” Trump said. As of now, he said, it has not been needed.
…
“Ultimately it’s the president’s vision and the president’s policies that he got elected to implement that the attorneys are just working hard to defend,” the White House official said. “We’re working hard to look at the law and say, ‘How do we achieve the president’s vision?’”
Trump considered invoking the act in his first term during the protests after George Floyd was killed in Minneapolis in 2020. He declined despite the urging of some allies and later regretted that decision, according to the senior administration official. He is viewing his current decision through that lens, the senior administration official said.
One of Trump’s deputy chiefs of staff, Stephen Miller, has been a leading and longtime proponent of invoking the Insurrection Act.
Um, well, does it matter?
Stephen Miller is a real pos working in the Trump administration.
Any man that loses their spoon spends a night in the box.
I’m sure his parents are wonderful influences.
Don’t measure, cut yourself.
Lololol.
My first thought too. Are stock images really that expensive?
“And I can’t even.”
True. When I was young I thought why don’t we use the military domestically. Yeah it doesn’t work.
I’m shocked. Shocked!
Well not that shocked.
